Now, the next thing that you’ll want to do is disable the ruler at the top of the screen by unchecking this box. Now, this ensures that you can use the full width of the page and not need to scroll past page breaks, which can often appear mid-sentence. Here I have a script that I’m presenting from right now and the first thing that you’ll want to do in the View tab is change the view from Print Layout to Web Layout. So in my case, I’m using Microsoft Word and what I’ll demonstrate today works more or less the same way whether you’re on a PC or Mac. So in today’s work from home tip, I’ll show you how you can use Microsoft Word to easily convert any document into something that works perfectly as a teleprompter and I’ll show you how you can use Microsoft Teams as a way to project this teleprompter screen to a remote presenter or a second device, like a phone screen, that can be placed directly under your camera so that your eyes stay close to the camera lens. Now, if you’re not used to using a teleprompter, with a little practice reading into your camera a teleprompter can help get your presentations or speeches to the next level. If you’ve ever wondered how news anchors or public speakers can stay on point and present their topics in a crisp and concise way all within a limited timeframe, the chances are they’re using a teleprompter. its simple, but i think people dont like it mostly because they are used to faster paced combat. I mean, personally i dont think the combat is that bad. But when there are great indie games like Undertale or Cuphead or Stardew Valley for $15, this doesn't cut it. If this were at a $6 99 or $7.99 price point, it would be an 8/10. At a $15 price point, I'd expect about 3-4 hours, reasonably or an extremely polished and witty gem. And about half of that was running back and forth to do sidequests. To 100% the game, on my first playthrough, knowing nothing about the game, took me an hour 50. Almost none of the other characters interact with each other at all, so most of the game feels like you're just having text directed at you, and the "funny" parts don't seem to know what they're going for a game where the central idea is tax evasion is obviously targeted at adults, but a lot of the jokes wouldn't even be funny to a kid. The dialogue and story fall flat pretty often. Having Turnip Boy be a silent protagonist is a big part of this, I think. If the story had been compelling enough this would make sense but as it is, it makes an already easy game trivial. The game is insanely easy on its default settings, and provides options in the settings for increased damage and even godmode. There is no reason to ever actually fight a boss because 3-4 bombs defeats every boss in the game, and getting close enough to hit him with melee almost guarantees you take damage. It's mainly just "whack an enemy from a very short distance" or for bosses "kick bomb into boss". There are some funny bits to the dialogue. Okay, so I played this on Switch, and these are my thoughts: Join our Discord for more turnips & tax evasion! A deep history of the world and how it became what it is.Multiple endings based on how effectively you commit tax evasion.Earn collectible hats and alternate between which one to wear.Tons of tax documents to rip up, allowing you to erase your paper trail and potentially destroy the government.A large cast of quirky food-based characters, all with their own stories and problems.Grow and harvest plants to aid in your journey. Battle massive beasts that terrorize the garden community.Dungeons full of puzzles, enemies and rare treasures to pay back your debt.A thrilling, single-player adventure full of tax evasion, petty crimes and more.Along the journey uncover what’s spoiling this garden community and rise to tear down the corrupt vegetable government! Garden tools to solve plantastic puzzles, meet eccentric vegetables and fruits, and take on treacherous fights against animals both big and small. After failing to pay taxes and getting evicted from your home, you must go on an epic quest to pay back your massive debt to Mayor Onion. Take control of an adorable turnip who happens to be an absolute menace to society. In a more detailed response, Skylum says: Luminar says the two products have different workflows, and photographers are free to choose which is the better fit. I hope it's not a ploy to soak photographers twice, once with LuminarAI and then again with Luminar Neo. That makes me think there's going to be some overlap with LuminarAI, and I'm wondering why they don't incorporate these new tools into the existing product. It appears to be aimed at portrait photographers more than, say, landscape photographers, but it's hard to tell until I have the software in hand. Still, LuminarAI has some excellent tools for portrait work, like skin smoothing, lighting controls, and bokeh. It looks like another interesting effort from Skylum. The software is expected to ship this winter and will be available as a package deal with Luminar AI. Once edited in Luminar Neo, results can be sent back to the mobile device for easy social sharing or viewing on the go. Our new companion mobile app makes it simple to add pictures captured on a mobile device to your Luminar Catalog. Take full control of the background for portrait photos by quickly replacing it with an all-new image or background. New tools make removing unwanted background elements easier than ever before. Luminar Neo automatically recognizes and removes artifacts caused by a dirty camera sensor or lens. Remove blemishes and distracting elements.Luminar Neo analyzes each image to recognize the depth of a scene and its subject which allows precise control over exposure and tone. Transform photos with new relighting options. What Does Luminar Neo Do?Įxpected features in this new editor include: “As the latest member of the Luminar family, we designed Luminar Neo to allow artists to take on more challenging image creation work and achieve results which often seem unattainable,” said Dima Sytnik, Co-Founder and CPO of Skylum. Then I immediately got up and walked over to Ult, had 2 minutes to warm up, and played (and lost) to Cosmos. By game 3 I was back in the right headspace and I won. I lost game 1 to BIGkiD, and very nearly lost game 2. I knew I should have taken a longer break, but some twisted part of my mind told me it was a good idea to try and play and force myself to recover from the tilted state of mind. I was really tilted after the loss, and had to play another set immediately. I was letting too many external factors get in my head, such as people from his region talking smack (playfully, not maliciously), and ultimately slipped up majorly in game 3. Of course, I did end up losing the set to FatGoku. I’d informed the streamrunners about my situation but I guess it was too late to bump me any further up the queue, so we had to wait it out. It was around 3:30pm when we played, and my Ultimate round 2 pool was at 4pm, so I was pretty annoyed. Another half hour, and we still haven’t played. Then an hour goes by, and I’m waiting for my stream match against FatGoku. Then I had to transition to Melee (which was round 2 pools at this point – round 1 was the day before) and I started off hot, winning my first set against R2DLiu with a 4 stock. I made an upset and won my pool, and was feeling good. I came to the venue early to warm up Melee, then transitioned to warm up Ultimate until my Ultimate pool started. Before you know it, months and months go by, tournaments come and go, and you have to live with the decisions you’ve made in the past. If there’s anything I’ve learned about smash, it’s that the long-term investments are basically always worth it. I was in n3z’s chat at some point talking about it and Kalindi pointed out that if I’m sick at both games in a year, nobody will care about a few bumps along the road right now. If I’m serious about competing in both Melee and Ultimate at a high level, I need to learn what does and doesn’t work for switching games and managing my time at tournaments. But I figured that the experience actually competing in both games simultaneously would be worth it, even with reduced preparation for Melee. I’ve known this was a risk, and debated playing secondaries or not entering Melee at all at both events. And the result for both was the same – almost everything is still there, but it’s clear that if I need to be preparing further in advance for when I really return to form, as I was upset in winners bracket of both tournaments (by FatGoku at Genesis, and by Reesch at Full Bloom). A bit of concentrated solo practice to get my movement back up to speed, and some netplay sessions with good people to get my brain back up to speed. I’ll save some time and say that it was the same story for both Melee tournaments I’ve entered so far – I basically only played Melee a few times in the week leading up to the event. So far, I’ve decided to give competing in both Melee and Ultimate at the same time an honest shot, but I haven’t been competing in Melee in earnest in the way I was last year. In this bl0g post I’ll reflect on my experiences this year so far and hopefully by the end of it I’ll have a better idea of where I’m at with smash. I also don’t really have an answer to this question. It’s improvement, competing, friends, writing, streaming, podcasting, traveling, and much more. It’s a pretty wide question because smash isn’t just one thing. But trying to improve at the game with everything else on my plate is proving to be an extremely difficult task, and keeps pushing me to ask of myself: what do I really want to get out of smash? The game is a lot of fun and I’m pretty optimistic about its merit as a competitive game. Ultimate has been out for a few months now and has taken up the majority of the time I can dedicate to smash. Today, the current Invicta company produces watches with the Swiss Made label as well as Made in Japan. Invicta is not trying to compete with Rolex, although we have customers who enjoying wearing both brands.Īre Invicta Watches Swiss Made, Made in Japan or China?Īs discussed above, the Invicta watch company was founded in Switzerland over 100 years ago, until the 1980s, they were all Swiss made. A Rolex Submariner will cost you over $10,000, but you can find an Invicta Pro-Diver automatic for under $100. The most well-known example is the Invicta Pro-Diver which looks almost identical to a Rolex Submariner from a distance. Invicta makes homage watches that are inspired by the designs of other major watch brands like Rolex, Omega, etc. Over the years, the Invicta watch brand has been known to collaborate with some of the biggest names and brands in the world including: Jason Taylor, Marvel, DC Comics, Disney, Shaq, NFL, Star Wars, Beavis and Butt-Head, Southpark, and even the US Army and Navy. Invicta's tagline is " Invincible in Detail". Although many watch enthusiasts claim to hate the Invicta brand, the reality is that the brand is like a gateway drug for many collectors to become interested in watches. Some collectors do not even take the watches out of the box when they arrive. Many Invicta watch collectors proudly own dozens, if not hundreds of Invicta watches. The brand's ability to spawn new models so rapidly, combined with the shop from home with 5 easy payment plans, seems to almost create an addiction amongst fans of the brand. Later, they even started their own home stopping style series. Invicta became huge over the years thanks to countless appearances on TV home shopping channels like ShopNBC, ShopHQ and Evine. Currently based in Hollywood, FL, the brand is now known for popular watch lines such as Pro Diver, Russian Diver, Reserve, Lupah, Bolt, Akula, Speedway, Venom, Subaqua Noma, and more. The Invicta brand that we know today came from a buyout of the name in 1991. However, that company also went bankrupt. Production at that point moved from La Chaud-de-Fonds to Bielle, Switzerland. The company went bankrupt in the 1980s and sold to a group called Ondix S.A. Invicta watches was originally started in 1837 by Raphael Picard in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. And you won’t imagine how the food will be. You can eat everything on the way although they can be very hard. Le Bon’s dad played the guitar and made mix tapes. “It was, ‘We’ll see you when it gets dark.’ We each had a goat we’d walk.” The girls got into horseback riding, too-“two muddy kids on two muddy ponies.” Le Bon’s sister became a veterinarian, married a horse surgeon, and now lives with her husband and children in Penboyr. “My parents would kick my older sister and I out on the weekends, and we’d roam the countryside,” Le Bon told me. They bought a dilapidated farmhouse, worked for the local government, and raised their daughters in the rustic style. Her parents had met at university, in Newcastle, England, and then moved to Penboyr, a hamlet in the west of Wales. Le Bon spent much of her early life in exhilarating communion with nature. “That beautiful remoteness is kind of what I crave,” Le Bon said, of living in Joshua Tree. But now we’re living at a time when everything is catching up with us.” One song on the album, “Moderation,” had been partly inspired by “The Moon,” a 1958 essay by the modernist architect Lina Bo Bardi, which explores, Le Bon said, the “chasm between human needs and technological progress.” The song was about “the guilt or existential dread” that we feel about behavior we can’t seem to alter, even to save the planet. People captured in their final moments.” More recently, it had brought to mind other environmental catastrophes, “and the way we try to palm off tragedies or qualify them in ways that mean we’re safe. “I was always struck by the idea of someone’s final gestures-something so private-turned into something so public and permanent. “I remember first hearing about it in primary school,” she said. I asked what the lost city of Pompeii meant to her. Le Bon told me that she usually thought of an album’s title long before recording it. Heba Kadry, the Brooklyn-based mastering engineer who worked on the album, told me that she’d been delighted when she first listened to the recordings-“all these amazing, New Wave-y kinds of sounds, way more synth-heavy than Cate’s earlier albums, but also still minimal, sharp, architectural.” Kadry said the tracks were so fully realized that she felt a “beautiful kind of pressure not to fuck them up.” But the music often has an up-tempo eighties vibe, with whining, Eno-esque guitars in “Remembering Me,” lashings of synthesizer and saxophone, and a head-nodding danceability throughout. The result, Le Bon’s sixth solo album, wades into bleak themes-loss, memory, legacy, the destruction of the planet. In the mornings, the three housemates cheered themselves up, Le Bon said, by “commuting”-leaving, making a big loop, and coming home with coffee to start the workday. (The drummer Stella Mozgawa joined via Zoom from Australia, adding her tracks to Le Bon’s guitar, bass, piano, and vocals.) From the upstairs windows, Le Bon could see seagulls wheeling through the gray winter sky. Le Bon had spent time there in her twenties, and she was joined by her romantic partner, the musician Tim Presley of White Fence, and her co-producer Samur Khouja. Le Bon’s was mostly recorded on a residential street in Cardiff, Wales, in a terrace house lent to her by her friend Gruff Rhys, of the Welsh rock band Super Furry Animals. “Pompeii” is one of a wave of albums made by artists in various iterations of isolation. “What you said was nice, when you said my heart broke a century.” Much of the time, I have no idea what Le Bon is singing about, but find myself moved anyway. “What you said was nice, when you said my face turned a memory,” she sings on “Harbour,” from the new album. And then there are her lyrics-enigmatic, aphoristic, packed with oddly juxtaposed concrete images, like a Dadaist collage. In the videos for her captivating new album, “Pompeii,” she strikes theatrical poses, unsmiling, in a color wheel of eccentric costumes, some of which encase her like carapaces. She sings in a slightly detached voice, punctuated by occasional, inscrutable sighs. Le Bon was born in Wales in 1983, and lived there until 2013, when she moved first to Los Angeles, and then, in 2021, to Joshua Tree, in the Mojave Desert. She sometimes repeats a word or phrase until it sounds uncanny. She will write a lovely melody, then thread it through patches of dissonance. The music of Cate Le Bon, the singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, has a rigorous, art-school weirdness that can be both entrancing and estranging. All right, let's just quickly see in the UI how that works. The example asks you about billing products and says, "Okay, a billing product must be coming from Windows AMI or the Alias Marketplace." And so, when you do want to copy an AMI with a billing product, you first launch an EC-2 instance from the AMI, and then you make an AMI from that EC-2 instance, and that's it. If you want to copy these things, what you do is create an instance, launch it from the instance, and then make an AMA from it from the instance, which effectively makes you a copy. So basically, if you get a Windows AMI or an AMI from the AWS Marketplace, they will have a billing product instead. And more importantly for the exam, you can't copy an AMI with an associated billing product code that was shared with you from another account. So that means that you register the copied snapshot as a new AMI. Instead, if you have access to the underlying snapshot and encryption key, you copy while reencrypting with the key you own. So the limit is that you can't copy an encrypted AMI that was shared with you by another account. You can't just stop someone from copying because there is a way for someone to create and effectively copy your AMI if they launch an EC2 instance from an AMI you own and then mix an AMI from that EC2 instance. So basically, if you need someone to not copy your AMI, you either grant them EBS snapshot access or SFC access. But you should be aware that if they do copy your AMI and copy it into another region, they will become the owner of that AMI. So if you share the account with someone else's account, you still own that AMI. So you can share an AMI with another AWS account, and when you do so, it does not change the ownership of the AMI. So let's talk about cross-account AMI copying, because this is quite a frequent exam question, and there's a small little tip you need to have.
